If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or 8 the NGATU692 web site will function normally until you attempt to access the Member's Only Area.

The Member's Only Area requires you enter a password to access the Member's Forum or the TU 692 Membership List. By default, IE 's Security Level is set to Medium-High. This setting disables that function.

If you wish to use these areas with the password, you need to modify the IE 's Security Settings. There are two ways to accomplish this:

Set the Security Level to Medium (easiest):
Start IE 7 or 8. Select Tools ==> Internet Options and Click on the Security tab. A small new window will open. Under "Security levels for this zone" Drag the lever down to Medium then click OK. Respond Yes to "Are You Sure?" then click OK once more.

OR

Create a Custom Security Level (most secure):
Start IE 7 or 8. Select Tools ==> Internet Options and Click on the Security tab. A small new window will open. Click the Custom Level button. Another window will open. Drag the scroll bar to the bottom on the window. Under "Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows" Select Enable. Click OK ==> Respond Yes to "Are You Sure?" then click OK once more.

* - If Tools does not appear on the IE 7 toolbar (Usually on Far Right, near the top) you can access Internet Options from the Control Panel or by Right Clicking the IE 7 icon (Blue 'e') and selecting Properties.

You can reset the Security Level for IE 7 or 8 to the default level at any time.

If you do not wish to follow either of these procedures, there is a third solution. Email me at
lbundy@ngatu692.com As long as I am able to verify your identity, I will send you a direct link to the Forum. Once you are able to access the Forum you can bookmark the page (save it to your favorites) and access the Forum in that manner. You will not be able to access the Membership List in this manner.

Please feel free to email me at any time.
